Volunteer Job Description
Position Title: Mobile Food Drop at St. Joseph Catholic Church

Program: Catholic Charities of Central Florida Agape Mission Market
Responsibilities for Volunteer:
- Sign in on arrival and sign out before leaving.
- Report with Ineavelle Colon on the walking table for instructions.
- Sort, pack, and distribute food.
- To be able to lift more than 30 or 40 pounds.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Monitor food condition, expiration date, and packaging.
- Move equipment, supplies, or food to required places if necessary.
- To be able to work alone or with others and be engaged in other activities.
- Follow food pantry procedures.
- See something, say something! Report any unsafe activities or accidents to the Food Pantry Manager immediately.
Qualifications:
· Ability to work in different environments (indoors, outdoors, refrigerated areas).
· Be part of the team and be patient with others.
· Ability to interact with clients and staff in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with high professionalism.
· 12 years old and older. Please note that volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or school chaperone.
Scheduling:
Report at 7:30 am and finish between 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
