Position Title: Call Center Customer Services Volunteer

 

Program: Catholic Charities of Central Florida Headquarters

 

Responsibilities for Volunteer:

·     Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.

·     Communicating with clients. This information can be exchanged by telephone or e-mail.

·     Answer, deliver, and explain information about services.

·     Getting Information from clients

·    Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask questions appropriately, and do not interrupt at inappropriate times.

·     Maintain records of customer phone calls. Entering or maintaining information in written or electronic form

·     Analyzing information to choose the best service.

·     Using computers or devices to enter data or process information.

 

Qualifications:

·        Needs to work with people with limited English ability patiently.

·        Must be 21 or older.

 

Training: 

·       Volunteers must attend an orientation and training at the Catholic Charities office. Complete a Safety Environment Course

 

Scheduling: 

·       The headquarters has a flexible schedule of 3 hours minimum on Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers should inform the Manager of Mission Engagement about their schedule and when to stop volunteering.
